These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MotionTrace mobile application (the "App") and related services or website operated by MotionTrace ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility and Acceptance
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.
- If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or internal business use.

- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the App except as allowed by law.

3. Your Content and Responsibilities
- You are responsible for media and data you create, upload, import, edit, export, or share using the App.
- You represent you have all rights and permissions needed for content you process with the App.

- You are responsible for keeping backup passphrases and credentials secure.
- We recommend maintaining your own additional backups of important data.
- If your device or app media folders are synced with third-party cloud services (e.g., iCloud, Google Photos, Dropbox, OneDrive), those services may upload files based on your device/account settings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MotionTrace from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time for security, legal, operational, or business reasons.
The App does not require user accounts, and we generally do not have the ability to suspend or block specific individual users. If you violate these Terms, your license to use the App terminates automatically.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
14. Changes to the App or Terms
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
- We may update these Terms from time to time.
- Continued use after updated Terms are published means you accept the updated Terms.
